Ryan Villopoto has been a common sight at tracks all around SoCal recently, and it’s almost odd to see him pitted out of the back of his pickup truck, riding the motocross tracks at places like Milestone MX, Glen Helen, and more, while every other professional is burning laps on Supercross tracks in preparation for Anaheim 1. It goes without saying that Villopoto’s speed is ridiculous, and with over two more months to prepare for his MXGP debut in Quatar on February 28, RV is enjoying his holiday season for the first time in many years. No one has really heard from the four-time Supercross Champion since he initially announced his decision to end his career in Europe, so we sat down with the Kawasaki rider yesterday at Glen Helen for a few minutes before he took to the track.
