It started with a prologue in the form of an enduro sprint on Saturday which was used to establish the starting positions for the real race which was held on Sunday. There were five hundred qualified riders!
Wade Young had a good start and after a few minutes of racing he was in fourth place. He quickly gained positions and was fighting with Jonny Walker for the lead. Walker who is British had a fall and had to abandon, this left the field wide open for Wade. Wade was then able to increase his lead and by the end he was the solitary leader and was able to overcome the last major obstacle for the win!
This was the seventh win of the season for the team. The next race for them is the “Sea to Sky” in Turkey.
