A look back at the Sea to Sky which took place last weekend in Turkey.
Following their double last year Wade Young and Mario Roman showed up at the start with the number 1 and 2 plates, they were very motivated to keep the number 1!
From the first day of the race (Beach Race) the Sherco riders set a strong pace, Wade honored his number 1 by winning this first stage ahead of Mario.
On day 2 (The Forest Race) the guys achieved the same results,
The Canyon Race marked Mario’s awakening, in the shadow of his teammate from the start, Mario managed to forge ahead and win on day 3 showing his power.
On the last day, which was the most important, the one that will decide the winner of this Sea to Sky. Mario took advantage of his good momentum, and went on to win at the top of Mount Olympus at an altitude of 2365m! He managed to beat his teammate Wade Young who finished this tenth edition of the Sea to Sky in second place ahead of Graham Jarvis who was third.
