Successful outcome of Youthstream’s presence at SPORTEL

2013-MXON-Germany_2673Grimaldi’s Forum, Monaco’s Convention Centre, hosted the 24th edition of SPORTEL, which is the most influential business Market for the Sport Media Industry and it is globally recognized by industry leaders. Since Youthstream was founded it has had a stand at SPORTEL in order to present all the series and expand the Media Coverage of all the championships, but this year Youthstream also used this opportunity to present the new branding of the company to the key TV sport broadcasters, as well as all the main news TV distributors.

During SPORTEL Youthstream Media’s CEO, Mr Didier Henriod signed the three-years agreement with Mr Carlos Martinez, President of Latin America FOX International Channels, to broadcast the FIM MXGP and MX2 World Championships in Latin America and Brazil. Mr Henriod, Mrs Charlotte Apparu, Youthstream’s TV General Manager, and Mr Olivier Godallier, Youthstream’s TV and Marketing Sales Director, also had the opportunity to meet Mr Mohammed Rashid Al-Derham, Aljazeera Network’s Unit Supervisor, to make a balance of the first year of collaboration and to introduce the most significant changes of the series, such as the new MXGP class.

Other important TV broadcasters visited Youthstream’s stand and most of them showed a big enthusiasm especially towards the FIM MXGP World Championship, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations and the Monster Energy FIM Junior Motocross World Championship. The balance after these three days at SPORTEL is very positive and it is very likely that there is a significant increase in the distribution of the series.

During the 2013 edition of SPORTEL H.S.H. Prince Albert II passed by Youthstream’s stand and many other sporting personalities such as Mr Jean-Pierre Mougin, Secretary General of the French Olympic Committee, or Mr Raffaele Chiulli, President of the International Motonautisme Union.
