New challenges for Bud Racing including US Supercross !

Valentin-Teillet-Supercross-2014In a few days the season will start for Bud Racing, now involved in the US Supercross with Valentin Teillet. The French team enter new challenges this season, and welcome Monster Energy as new partner

Bud Racing always enjoyed new challenges, and moving in the US Supercross series is already a big one even if the team has a strong US base in the Bud Californian workshop. Valentin Teillet is training in California since a month, and will be next Saturday behind the gate in Anaheim (California) for the first round of the ‘Lites’ series. Valentin will have a strong program this season with the US Supercross, the French Elite Motocross – first round on March 2nd in Ernée -, some MXGP Grand Prix as he can’t race anymore the MX2 due to the age regulation, and of course the main European Supercross.

Bud Racing has always helped young and talented kids, such as Marvin Musquin or Dylan Ferrandis, and this year they will do even more with three young riders involved in the European series. Frenchman Benoit Paturel will enter his third season with the team, alongside Spaniard Jorge Zaragoza and young Brian Moreau Strubhart; Ben and Jorge will race on a 250 KXF in the European MX2 series and their national series, while Brian will be riding the new KX85 in the French and European championships, and the FIM Junior Cup.

Runner up in the French Elite MX2 and winner of a Supercross in Lyon, Benoit Paturel is back on a Kawasaki; at nineteen years old he remains one of the main French hopefuls. 85cc European vice champion in 2011, Jorge Zaragoza had two difficult seasons with a couple of injuries; 17 years old, Jorge claimed some strong wins during the last rounds of the German series and will enter the EMX2 for the second time. Double French champ’ in the minivert classes – 65cc in 2012 and 85cc in 2013 – Brian Moreau Strubhart was racing in a family team before signing a long term deal with Bud Racing. Fifth rider of the team, Australian Meghan Rutledge will be back in the FIM Women World Championship with Bud Racing; runner up in the series last season, she’s back with more experience and will also raced the X Games.

To build such a program, Bud Racing has strong and loyal partners; Kawasaki is of course one of the main partner, and both parties are closely working together. Bud Racing will, for example, take care of the Kawasaki Americans and Australians riders during the 2014 FIM Junior Cup. And Bud will celebrate the new KX85 Kawasaki with a “Bud Racing MX Challenge” to help young riders all over Europe. Thanks to this strategy, Monster Energy has also joined the team; with such a program the Bud Racing Kawasaki Monster team will be racing almost every weekend, always with passion and enthusiasm!
