All is settled up here in Riola Sardo for the first race of the International Italian MX Championship SIDI Series 2015. The race track is ready and the crispy yellow sand, flatted down by the machines yesterday, look easy to ride, but as the first bikes will cross the circuit, bumps and ruts will be back and the hell of sand, as the track is named by the riders, will be a real nightmare for them. The entry list is filled with big names and the fight for the final victory is unpredictable. The 2014 MX1 Champion, Jeremy Van Horebeek, will face riders as Tony Cairoli, Max Nagl, Gautier Paulin, Davide Guarneri, David Philippaerts, Tommy Searle, Evgeny Bobryshev and Ken De Dycker, just to name some of the top contenders.
In MX2 the chase for the title is really open, Tim Gajser, Alexander Tonkov, Jeremy Seewer, Paul Jonass, Davy Potjes, and Vseva Brylyakov will challenge the Italians, Ivo Monticelli, Joakin Furbetta and Simone Zecchina.
Growing more and more every year the Sidi series is now the biggest MX National Championship of Europe with 120.000€ of jackpot; will Tony Cairoli be again the Elite Champion and bring back home the amazing prize of 50.000€?
