The first round of the Spanish Enduro Championship was held this past weekend in Puerto Lumbreras.
Lorenzo Santolino and Jeremy Tarroux participated in this event and we had a very eventful weekend. The complete race was held on Sunday which began badly for the Sherco Factory Team with the fall of Jeremy Tarroux in the special. He was sent to the hospital for an examination and they determined that he had fractured his radius. He had surgery on Monday. We do not know how long he will be off the bike.?
Lorenzo struggled in the muddy conditions on the first lap of the race, he did get much more comfortable when the dry portions of the track appeared. He went on to the win in E1 during the final special against Cristobal Guerrero. A very good introduction for Lorenzo.
The next race for Lorenzo will be the indoor enduro in Barcelona this coming weekend.
