The first two days were devoted to the prologue which is raced like Pikes Peak. Just as last year Wade Young raced very well and finished in second place.
In the Sunday Xtreme race, Wade had a great start and was in the front of the pack. He took command of the race, but made a mistake and because of the delay fell way back. However, little by little Wade and Mario Roman nibbled away at the competition and near the end Wade doubled Walker at a very difficult spot in the course and finished in a respectable fourth place! For his part Mario finish in ninth place.
