MXGP is in Italy this week, more specifically at the beautiful track of Pietramurata for the MXGP of Trentino! The track has been a stop of the MXGP championship the past several years with a hard pack surface set against the Dolomites.
This weekend, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Antonio Cairoli, going to Trentino with the red plate, will be looking to make a statement at his home GP while his teammate Jeffrey Herlings is one of the guys to watch out as they are even in points. Meanwhile in the MX2 category things are getting more heated between Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s unbeaten Pauls Jonass and Jorge Prado who is shooting for his first win of 2018. However others such as Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thomas Kjer Olsen and Honda 114 Motorsports Hunter Lawrence are also looking to take their first victories of the year.
This weekend’s racing will also include the first races of the FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship along with the second round of EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing.
