Top Team will make their debut of the season at Riola Sardo (still huge the moneyprize: €120.000,00)
Start Time – The 2013 International Italian MX Championship this year will be on three closed Rounds. An unexpected and unusual advance of more than a month on the traditional start of the MX GP has forced the IMF and the Organisers to modify drastically a calendar which was working well and with success comparing some of the most important team of the panorama of the motocross world.
The initial condition is bewilderment, linked to the feeling of being faced with a situation that is completely compromised but this situation may, paradoxically, be a further opportunity to promote “our” Championship. After the problems, difficult and not at all painless, linked to the choice of tracks to race on and thanks to the geographical position of our country, the “International MX of Italy” could be an “absolute necessity” for all and become more strategic in the preparation to the GP.
The Locations
Round #1 – Riola Sardo (OR) – 3rd February 2013 – The mild clima of Sardinia and sandy ground of “Le Dune” will welcome the debut of the 2013 Championship. The track is an important point of reference for the training of the riders, because the “extreme” conditions of the ground are very similar with many important GP’s tracks in Europe. KTM, Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha have already booked their training sessions on the sand of Riola Sardo. Unmissable.
Round #2 – Malagrotta (RM) – 10th February 2013 – Located at a step from Rome, is the “home” track of the sixth time Champion Antonio Cairoli!
The second Round of the International MX Championship is interesting and exclusive as the first one: a traditional ground with many, many technical parts and many jumps. Exclusive.
Round #3 – Arco di Trento (TN) – 17th February 2013 – The northern position of the location enjoys the favor of the warm air flows from the Garda’s lake and the near reliefs of Pietramurata which repair the track “Il Ciclamino”. The last appointment of the 2013 Championship will be a preview on the GP which will be valid as fourth round of the World MX Championship. It will be a “must” to get all the information to focus on the best set up of the bikes. Strategical.
If to all these preambles you will add the secure fight between the top riders of the world Motocross (this is a constant warranty of the Championship) and the huge moneyprize, you will be sure that this time it will be a “World preview” of what will be the forces in field for the season 2013!
