After four Grand Prix, the Mika Ahola « Brave One » Trophy is still very intense and it’s difficult to see a favourite! Indeed, with the short, fast and low technical Enduro Tests of Puerto Lumbreras and Torres Vedras, it’s nearly impossible to see a trend in the standings…
Threatening SALVINI…
Leader after South America, Ivan CERVANTES (E – KTM) has withstood several attacks from his rivals and has always been well placed (2/1/2/4). The Spanish confirms his leadership with… Only 2 points ahead of Alex SALVINI (I – HM Honda)…
With a back to back in Portugal, the native from Bologna have well compensated the precious points lost in the Murcia region (7/2) and remains very threatening.
Behind this interesting duo, Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F – Husaberg), despite his victory on Saturday in Puerto Lumbreras, has lost many points while Antoine MEO (F – KTM), 4th, and Johnny AUBERT (F – KTM), 5th, see their chances to win the belt diminish…
Despite his good tour (3/3/9/2), Christophe NAMBOTIN (F – KTM) will have many difficulties to keep the trophy he won yesterday.
But the season is very long and nothing is played in this Mika Ahola “Brave One” Trophy. Now all those riders will face again the 15th and 16th of June in Buzau (Romania) and the 22nd and 23rd of June in Kastoria (Greece) where more technical Enduro Tests will permit to mentally and physically strong rider to win.
