The parking lot of the Avani Lesotho Hotel was a hive of activity as support crews put the finishing touches to their pits and the 371 riders made their way through documentation, loaded the GPS tracks and collected their tracking units. Riders can be tracked live from the https://www.ybtracking.com/index website.

The usually reserved, Graham Jarvis looks to be on top form and has been entertaining fans around the pits and local mall, with his incredible wheelies and technical riding skills. The Husqvarna riders’ joy for riding is ever present as he looks forward to a good battle with reigning Roof of Africa champion, Wade Young.

Young has been seen around the pits sporting, bandaged strapped right wrist and rumours are circulating that a recent training crash has him nursing a minor injury, but otherwise the KTM rider is looking fitter than ever! Tomorrow will start with the traditional Round the Houses spectacle on the city streets of Maseru, before riders move to the first section of real racing. Tomorrow’s time trial is purported to be the toughest in the history of the race and will determined the start order for Friday’s racing stage.
