Getting Zesty in Brazil

Riders_MXGP_3_BRAZIL_2014_01As the sun begun to dip below the glorious clouded sky of Beto Carrero, Brazil the paddock of MXGP was briefly brought to life as joyful, energetic Samba Dancers who were joined by typical Brazilian ‘carnival-like’ characters the Porta Bandeira and Mestre Sala greeted the MXGP riders, team managers and media with a zesty performance. While everyone filled their bellies with the deliciousness of Brazilian BBQ’d meat, some of the team managers and organizers enjoyed one or two glasses of Brazil’s number one cocktail ‘Caipirinha’.

Amidst the buzz of the performance, a moment was taken for Youthstream, FIM and the Brazilian Authorities to exchange their thanks. Youthstream CEO Mr. Daniele Rizzi and FIM/CMS Director Dr. Wolfgang Srb shared their excitement to be back in Beto Carrero for the third consecutive year with the Brazilian authorities President of Fesporte Mr. Vadinho, the City Council board of Penha Mr. Ju Ju and Mr. Claudinei, and the Director of Beto Carrero World Mr. Edilson Doubrawa expressing the excitement to host yet another round of MXGP. Rounding out the speeches, the Brazilian Authorities gifted all people in attendance with a T-Shirt as a symbol of their appreciation. The T-shirt read “Motocross, Samba, Praia, Sol, Futebol, MXGP” which translates to all things that make Brazil so fantastic ‘Motocross, Dancing, Beaches, Sun, Football and MXGP!’
