2015 Honda EMX150 Championship training camp confirmed

2014 MXGP of Czech Republic - Loket_1599The date for the opening event in the 2015 Honda 150 European Championship has been confirmed – the pre-season Training Camp will be held on 14-15 March in Albaida, Spain.

Run in conjunction with FIM Europe, the Training Camp is the first chance for all entrants to the series to climb aboard their Honda CRF150Rs, but it is more than just two days of riding.

Part of Honda’s commitment to finding the next MXGP stars means offering young riders the ability to compete on the European Grand Prix stage, but also nurturing talent and providing aspiring racers with the best possible boost at the start of their careers.

All the 11-14 year-old riders registered for the 2015 series will receive assessment and tuition on performance-critical elements such as nutrition, fitness and training from FIM Europe, as well as guidance on technique, positioning and style on the bike from series coach Gordon Crockard.

As a new addition for the 2015 Training Camp, all riders will also be able to test the latest kit from motocross specialists Fox Head Europe who will be bringing along their latest range of Instinct boots and protective kit, and specialists for feedback, advice and to also watch for the talent of tomorrow. As partners to the Honda 150 European Championship, significant discounts on kit purchases are also available for all championship riders.

The Honda European 150 Championship is the junior support championship to the FIM Motocross World Championship. Open to 11-14 year-old riders, the prize for the 2015 champion will be a Honda-supported ride in the EMX250 series in 2016 aboard a Honda CRF250R.
