Alex Salvini escapes !

Alex Salvini Enduro 2013After six Grand Prix and with totally different Enduro Test in Romania and Greece, a trend has finally released from the provisional standing of the Mika Ahola “Brave One” Trophy. Enough to have already a winner? Not so sure…
Full marks for NAMBOTIN

The newly E3 World Champion Christophe NAMBOTIN (F – KTM) made a full marks during this tour. With 3 wins on 4, the 2012 winner is back on the 4th rank.

But his awakening seems too late, in fact, by being constant (2/3/4/3) and taking advantage from the misfortunes of Ivan CERVANTES (ESP – KTM), Alex SALVINI (I – HM Honda) will arrive in St Flour for the Grand Prix AMV of France as leader of the Trophy.

The Italian has now 27 points ahead of Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F – Husaberg) who has made an encouraging tour (6/2/2/4), but lost ground on the first day in Buzau (Romania) where the Monteoru test made the selection, but also the joy of the riders, who all underline the quality of this special: “The best Enduro Test that has been made in recent years” highlighted Juha SALMINEN (FIN – HVA).

Antoine MEO (FRA – KTM), the only rider to have managed to take a win to NAMBOTIN during these two weekends, completes the Top 5 but lost all hope of winning the Champion belt he covets…

With one last Grand Prix to go, Alex SALVINI is in a very favorable position and may well win the 2013 Mika Ahola “Brave One” Trophy. But there is always the threat of Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F – Husaberg) who should have a slight advantage due to Enduro Test that seems more in line with his riding style. See you on next September 7th and 8th to St Flour for a Grand Prix AMV of France who already feel the heat.
