HM Honda Zanardo’s Alex Salvini has had an outstanding 2013 season with a 100% podium record that included nine wins in the Enduro 2 World Championship. We would like to present to you a video which follows the Italian star during the final event of the season in St Flour, France where he won his first world title on the opening day in difficult conditions.
The incredibly talented Salvini, who only switched to racing enduro full time in 2011, is the first Italian to win an enduro world championship for 13 years and the 28-year-old has certainly been a dominant force with the ultra-successful HM Honda Zanardo team this season. Salvini has also won the Italian championship this year and the team can now boast nine world title wins along with 63 Italian championship wins.
This emotional video by Mikey Neale shows Salvini’s approach to the weekend and the rollercoaster journey to winning his first world championship, along with input with the Team Owner Alessandro Tramelli and Team Manager Franco Mayr. Salvini ended the season 47 points ahead of last year’s champion, Pierre Alexandre Renet.
