Alex Salvini explodes his rivals!

During this hot March night and with a crowd that has only eyes for the EWC, the 118 entries of this Grand Prix Maxxisof Argentina got into the arena of the KTMSuper Test… Gigantic and Enchanting!!

This Super Test, with not so many difficulties, organized in the Predio Ferialin the center of San Juan, was very fast and really spectacular. The spectacle, in live during 2 hours on the national TV, was on the rendezvous the forums full of spectators has vibrated on each passage of the World Enduro stars…

And as soon as the first riders entered in the arena, the tension and the show were at their maximum. David KNIGHT (GB – Honda), cheered on by the Argentinian public, quickly took command of this KTMSuper Test with a time of 1’26’’49… But, while the two KTM riders, Johnny AUBERT (F) and Ivan CERVANTES (E) both crashed and lost precious seconds, Alex SALVINI (I – HM Honda)wanted to continue his winning waves and scored a 1’25’’07… exploding the time of KNIGHTERand letting no chance to his rival of the night Pierre-Alexandre RENET (F – Husaberg), 1’26’’11. Then it seemed to be very difficult to beat the Italian tonight and not Joakim LJUNGGREN (S – Husaberg), who won his E3 class in 1’27’’67, not the KTM French rider Antoine MEO (1’26’’11), can’t stop him to sign his first KTMSuper Test victory!

In Junior class, numerous duels have gave chills to the Argentinian public and finally Danny MCCANNEY (GB – Gas Gas)won in 1’26’’30 after an amazing fight with Giacomo REDONDI (I – KTM). Finally, in FIM Youth Cup 125cc, Jamie MCCANNEY (GB – Husaberg)finished first ahead of Benjamin HERRERA (CL – TM) and Dawid CIUCCI (I – Husaberg).

This second KTMSuper testof the season was a true communion between the 7 000 aficionados “on fire” and the riders that did not hesitate to warm this crowd already gained to their cause. Now, see you tomorrow morning at 9.00 for the first day of this Grand Prix Maxxisof Argentina that has once again welcomed the EWC just like only the Latin America can do it!!
