The Monster Energy Genoa Supercross is at the starting gate, the final countdown is going on. From overseas to PalaFiera, the announced American riders, the superstars of Supercross are finally coming. Cooper Webb and Justin Bogle landed last night; already in Genova is Broc Tickle, while Justin Brayton is training in Italy; just arrived is Kyle Chisholm, left yesterday from Florida.
All the teenagers from 125 and 85 classes are ready to make their best, they are those who are here to learn and demonstrate to be able to become the future champions. For them today it has been the day of the FMI stage: around fifty riders who enliven the track during the afternoon, following the teaching of the FMI instructor Stevanini. They tried the track and mainly the most difficult sections, taking confidence with the whoops, jumps and every kind of technical series, as it is already happened in the previous round of Internazionali SX championship. A great initatives, that allows these boys to have to increase their skill and to be able to face this discipline, that needs the maximum concentration and ability by the riders. About the tomorrow race, the SX125 class will see the championship leader Bertuzzi (KTM) face a huge group of unchained Italian and mainly foreign riders. In the SX85 class, Palanca (KTM) will have to defend the first place of the classification from his peer conational challengers.
At the end of the day, all the ingredients are here: the track has been completely realized and “covered” to be presented to public and sponsors; registered riders are more than 100, and it’s a record for Genoa; the paddock has been prepared to allow fans to meet personally all these champions. The social media public is already excited while the people seems to be even more tainted by supercross and its spectacular competition in Genova.
