Before Italian International MX Round #2

Italian_iternational_MX_MX2_Start_Alghero_2016-02-04The awaited moment of World Motocross landing in Calabria is coming soon! For the first time one round of “Internazionali d’Italia MX SIDI Series” will be held on a track in Calabria. The “Oasi del Mediterraneo” circuiti is basically ready to host the best teams of World Championship as well as these riders want to be competitive on such a track renewed and re-made by Armatek.

The most interesting competition is surely Elite class, that takes the participation of the top riders. Evgeny Bobryshev (Team HRC) is the leader of classification thanks to his victory in Alghero, where he showed a very great shape. The heat for his leadership has started and is headed by the two Yamaha official riders, Febvre and Van Horebeek. Together with them are the two team-mates from Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory, Charlier and Nagl, who wants redress after Round#1. In the same way, Coldenhoff (Red Bull KTM Factory racing) wants to ameliorate his results as well as Leok (KTM), Goncalves (Massignani 8biano Husqvarna) and Guillod (Kemea Yamaha Racing Team) want to raise the classification. Impatient to be on track are the two Italianmen: Philippaerts (Yamaha DP19 Racing) and Lupino (Honda RedMoto Assomotor) wants to improve the good performance of Round#1. We must not forget also Tim Gajser (Honda Gariboldi) who didn’t have the best luck in his MX1 race when technical problems forced him to retire from the race. He is clearly one to watch this weekend.

Another great race is supposed to be done for young Italian MX2 riders: Cervellin (Honda Martin Racing Fiamme Oro) the real protagonist in Alghero; Bernardini (TM FMI Racing Team), who show all hi skills during the Elite final, while was unlucky in MX2 heat; Bonini (Husqvarna SDM Racing) growing up early. Not to forget is the Estonian Kutsar (KTM), surprisingly fourth placed in MX2. Moreover there will be the top team young riders fighting for the victory, as DP19 Yamaha Racing, with Ostlund and Lesiardo in MX2 and Van Moosdjik in 125, or KTM Silver Action, with Genot and Gettemans in MX2 and Rubini winner of 125 class, as well as Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Racing with the young Danish talent Haarup and TM FMI Racing team with Lugana.

Riders coming from all over Europe are awaited in Lamezia Terme, where OFFROADproracing staff is at work to organize the arrival of teams and all the other personnel. The attention is at maximum level, both from riders and public point of views, due to the great results in terms of media and spectators registered for Round#1.
