Cairoli and Herlings are Finland’s Finest

The circuit of Hyvinkää, Finland was welcomed back to the FIM Motocross World Championship calendar today as it represented round twelve of the 2013 season where Red Bull KTM Factory Racing duo Antonio Cairoli and Jeffrey Herlings proved to be Finland’s finest.Showing yet again impressive form Antonio Cairoli dominated both MX1 races to take the GP overall here in Finland. Looking comfortable out on the circuit of Hyvinkää Clement Desalle finished a strong second in race one and third in race two to take home second overall while Kevin Strijbos finished fifth in race one and an outstanding second in race two to finish third in total.

Meanwhile in the MX2 Jeffrey Herlings proved why he has been dubbed the best sand rider in the world, winning both races by over an outstanding fifty seconds. Taking his place on the second step of the podium was Dean Ferris who rode his way to two solid third place finishes for second overall. Rounding out the top three was Frenchman Jordi Tixier who after crashing in race one bounced back to fifth place and then went on to finish the day with a comfortable second place in race two.
