In 2015, Fox Head Europe will extend their support of youth in motocross by increasing its partnership with the Honda European 150 Championship. They will award the winner of each of the six rounds with an Instinct Trophy and a pair of their latest Instinct boots, as well as awarding the other two riders on the podium with vouchers to spend in their local Fox Head dealer.
Furthermore, every rider in the series will be eligible for a Fox ‘starting pack’, containing 360 Race Gear, AIRSPC goggles, V3 helmets and Instinct boots for a special discount as well as a special championship discount on future Fox Head Europe purchases.
Fox Head has been leading the way in motocross apparel for the last four decades, developing their kit at the highest level in the heat of motocross battle. Now the series’ 11-14 year-old riders will also benefit from their innovations in safety and protection and constant improvements in the areas of fit, ventilation, toughness and freedom of movement.
Honda Europe provide riders in the championship with bikes and all other technical aspects (tyres, fuel, tools etc.), and with Fox Head Europe’s increased support, the costs for the young riders are kept minimal – all they are required to do is provide their own riding gear, get themselves to the Grand Prix and arrange accommodation.
“I’m very pleased that we can extend our relationship with the Honda 150 European Championship next season,” said Philippe Casadesus, Fox Head Europe MX Sales Director. “The 2014 season was a great start with the series and we’re glad to be able to step this up for 2015. For us it’s a great touchpoint to motocross youth, some of whom may become the stars of tomorrow, and we’re very happy to be able to offer podium awards, including our new Instinct trophy, and special discounts to help support these young riders.”
Fox Head Europe will also be active at the Honda 150 European Championship Training Camp on 14-15 March, where all riders will be able to test out products from their latest range of helmets, boots and protective kit.
The Honda European 150 Championship is the junior support championship to the FIM Motocross World Championship. Open to 11-14 year-old riders, the prize for the 2015 champion will be a Honda-supported ride in the EMX250 series in 2016 aboard a Honda CRF250R.
