Less than one week and Genova will host the Indoor Enduro race, the FIM SUPERENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2011. A great event that always participated by the world best riders racing on a track which proposes all the kind of obstacles that riders are used to face along outdoor enduro tracks. As usually the competition is the key-element that makes the difference from the classic Enduro, starting from the grid.
The last two years champion, Tadeusz Blasuziak (KTM), winner of American EnduroCross, is the top favourite of such a sport, for his quickness and ability to risk during the race. Trying to break his dominion, there will be the E3 world champion Ahola (HM-Honda), together with Ljunggren (Husaberg), the winner last year in Genoa, and other protagonists of the World Championship, headed by Cervantes (GasGas), the 2009 Indoor Enduro World Championship, and followed by Thain (HM-Honda), Gomez (Husaberg), Guerrero (KTM), Jarvis (Husaberg), to close with Webb (Beta), who is protagonist of Enduro Cross e trial AMA Championshipd, and Lampkin (GasGas), the Trial former champion. Italy will be represented by the Italian champion Salvini (Husqvarna), D’Ambrosio (HM-Honda), Philippaerts (Beta) and the national champion Under 23, Mori.
The show will be enriched by the “Race of Legend”, that will see great cheampions like Gritti, Brissoni e Grasso among participants, ready to fight riding their vintage bikes, built before 1981, and so without single shock absorber and liquid colder. KTM enduro riders will participate the event as every year are used to do in Genoa!
Finally on Sunday next 27th november it will be the SIXS DAY, when the fan will be able to fight along the (simplified) track, where the night before the World Championhship had took place. Already several participants have been registered, but inscriptions are still open for all the 5 ategories (see http://www.offroadproracing.it/sixs.html) other than the SPORT Trophy, open class and reserved to Sport Licence holders. At Genoa PalaFiera everything is almost ready in order to host all the Italian Enduro racers and make them have fun.
