The Enduro Ukupacha in Quito, Ecuador is one of the toughest races out there, taking place in scorching conditions, this event isn’t for the faint hearted.
After the frantic prologue – won by Taylor Robert – came the main event. The meaning of Ukupacha is “hell” and hell is exactly what it was for the riders tackling this unforgiving Enduro.
The race was so tough that it required a little team work to make it through and in an Enduro first, Husaberg’s Alfredo Gomez and Graham Jarvis shared victory after an agreement to help each other finish the race.
