Internazionali D’Italia Supercross Milan – Video

Angelo_Pellegrini-_Supercross_Milan_2015-11-21The first of the two Supercross racedays is finished with the French hymn surrounding the EICMA Motolive arena. Each race has been very tight and kept the people on sitting on the stand all day long, watching Motolive competitions. A very busy timetable today, that saw not only the daily Daboot freestyle, but also 4 categories racing for the last round of Internazionali d’Italia Supercross championship: SXJunior 85, SXJunior 125, SX Lites (250cc.), Supercross (450cc.).

Since the early morning the SX85 were the first: Raffaele Giuzio (KTM) is the unique protagonist with the overall and championship victories. In the Main Event he is fantastic, with a spectacular recover after he felt down at the first turn. Neither Kevin Cristino (Yamaha), leader since the first lap, can resist to his return, so he had to be happy of his second place. Third classified is Federico Tuani (KTM).

In the SX125, for the entire race, the fight is hard among Morgan Lesiardo, Stephan Rubini and Camille Fonvieille, with the two French riders in a very close pace and the Italian rider, ready to pass them. In fact Lesiardo (TM) takes advantage of the unique Rubini’s mistake, to be the winner in front of the same Rubini (KTM) and Fonvieille (Yamaha), and to become the 2015 champion.

Nick Kouwemberg (Honda J-Tech) is the unlucky protagonist of the SX Lites: after Zonta’s Holeshot Tissot, takes the lead of the race. He seemed to become the dominator, but at the last lap he felt down and so is the young SX Italian talent Alberto Forato to win in front of him and his team mate Filippo Zonta. The Italian Champion is finally Francesco Muratori (Suzuki), for 1 point on Forato, at the end of a real fight with Kade Tinkler (Suzuki Castellari), who concludes in the last positions.

In the main class, Supercross, the competition is hard for the title between the two Italians Angelo Pellegrini (Suzuki) and Matteo Bonini (KTM), while the French Thomas Ramette (Suzuki) is the outsider: these three riders will be those on the podium in each final. In Final#1 Bonini start in front but at half race he is passed by Pellegrini, but he doesn’t let him go and overtakes him at two laps to the finish. In Final#2 Ramette is the fastest at the start, going alone to gain the overall victory. On the podium with him, Bonini is second placed and so the Supercross class Champion in front of Pellegrini, who gains the third step of the podium.

The Superfinal, where the starting grid s composed by the first 10 classified of the Supercross final and the first 5 of the Lite event, is a copy: Bonini gains the Holeshot Tissot and try to keep the lead, but Ramette is always just behind and pass him, going to be the winner. Pellegrini follows them behind and takes the podium, in front of the two Honda J-Tech riders, Kouwenberg and Zonta. A third place that allows Pellegrini to be the winner of Internazionali d’italia 2015.

Today has been the starter for MotoLive, because tomorrow there will be the main course: EuroSupercross, the FimEurope European Championship. Another raceday even more exciting, with all the riders that today took confidence with the track, so tomorrow the only can be faster and faster.
