A great day of races in Castiglione del Lago for the second round of the Internazionali d’Italia MX Sidi Series 2015. More than 5000 fans were walking the paddock and the atmosphere was similar to a World Championship round. Maximilian Nagl, with the factory Husqvarna, is the winner of the Elite race, the most important event of the day. The starting list of this race is composed by the 20 fastest guys of MX2 and MX1 of the previously races and have a final jackpot of 120.000€. The German rider who scored the hole-shot, was leading the all moto and took a brilliant victory in front of the KTM factory rider Tommy Searle and the Italian rider David Philippaerts who took his Yamaha to the third step of the podium. The leader and red plate of the Elite class is still Antonio Cairoli (KTM) with 180 points, equal wit the british rider Tommy Searle (KTM) Top MX2 rider of the Elite race was Tim Gajser (Honda), the Slovenian finished seventh, just in front of Benoit Paturel (Yamaha), eight, the two riders where faster than many good MX1 riders. In the previous races of MX2 The HRC rider was the winner, riding his CRF 250 from the first lap to the checkered flag in front of everybody. Second was the same Paturel that made an astonishing debut at the Italian series, preceding the Italian Alessandro D’angelo (KTM). The tricky condition of the soil did not scared David Philippaerts in MX1, the former World Champion, made a fantastic races, managing to keep Max Nagl behind him till the finish line; for the Italian is a revenge after the unlucky retirement suffered in Riola for a technical issue, when he was leading the race. The victory of the 125 race goes to the Polish rider Gabriel Chetnick (KTM), who won the second heat and took the red plate of the category.
