Italy’s best rider in MX2, Ivo Monticelli has renewed his contract with KTM Marchetti Racing for 2016 and will race the FIM MX2 World Championship on a KTM250SX-F.
Monticelli was 16th overall in the FIM MX2 World Championship in 2015 and led Team Italy to victory at the 2015 FIM Motocross of European Nations earlier this month.
Ivo Monticelli: ‘I’m very happy to continue with Team Marchetti because the environment is perfect for me to improve. At the end of the season I got many gratifications but I could do better at the World Championship. I think I have enough experience to reach the top 10 next year and I’ll do my best to be there’.
