Round two of the AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship saw Factory Husqvarna’s Jacob Argubright take his second-consecutive win of the season aboard his FC 450. Argubright called on his desert skills to navigate the thick dust and pull away to a solid win on the Paicines, California course over the President’s Day weekend. Meanwhile, Husqvarna riders Mike Brown and Graham Jarvis highlighted the international scene with podium finishes at the Australian Enduro-X National and Hell’s Gate 2014, respectively!
Despite getting out to a sub-par start, factory Husqvarna’s Jacob Argubright was able to to gain ground throughout AMA West Hare Scrambles event hosted by the Salinas Ramblers MC. Fighting the dusty conditions, Argubright passed his way into the lead by the end of the third lap.
“From there I pretty much never looked back,” Argubright said. “I stayed really consistent and rode my own race. My FC 450 ran great and it felt really good to get another win for Husqvarna.”
Australian Enduro-X Nationals
In preparation for his 2014 season, American Husqvarna racer Mike Brown made the trek to Sydney, Australia to race round two of the Australian Enduro-X Nationals. On the muddy and technical course, Brown put his Husky on the podium with a third-place finish at the Valvoline Raceway.
Hell’s Gate 2014
Also on the International stage, factory Husqvarna’s Graham Jarvis took top honors at Hell’s Gate 2014. Aboard a Husky TE 300, Jarvis bested Johnny Walker for the big win in Il Ciocco, Italy, marking his fourth victory at the notorious race. Jarvis is now credited as the winningest Hell’s Gate racer of all time!
