James Dabill – Beta will make his second appearance in the 2013 FIM X-Trial World Championship today in the evening, as the series visits the German city of Bielefeld for its fourth stop on the current tour. Dabill will line up against the eight permanent riders as a wild card entrant after the reigning British Champion failed to automatically qualify for this year’s series.

Speaking ahead of his second outing, his first being at the opening round in Sheffield, Great Britain Dabill had this to say. “Like I said before I am disappointed to have missed out on this year’s championship and I even thought I might have got a ride at the other rounds after my fourth place in Sheffield.”

“Anyway I am glad to be back and to have my chance to compete against the best riders in the World once again. I am confident that if I ride at my best I can be on the podium, as I have proved that with my past results. Recently I have been training hard to be ready for the outdoor series and the new no-stop rules, but this week I have put in a few days of training specifically to be ready for Bielefeld. Hopefully I can make an impact on my return.”
