After Eli Tomac’s crash allowed Ken Roczen to inherit the lead, he went down and gave Ryan Dungey the opportunity to catch up to him. The two former teammates battled for the top spot, and as Dungey made the pass, Roczen went down a second time. After the race, Roczen said the two crashes were the result of a flat tire.
