MXGP of Leon has raised the bar in terms of MXGP media coverage with an outstanding amount of exposure being the result of a very successful opening ceremony. During the opening ceremony which took place at the picturesque Parque Miguel Hidalgo in León, Guanajuato, Mr. Giuseppe Luongo, President of Youthstream, Mr Miguel Márquez, Governor of the State of Guanajuato, Mrs. Bárbara Botello, Mayor of León City and Mr. Juan Suberville, President of Rallymex presented the city of León’s first ever round of MXGP to nearly a hundred national and international media representatives. With so much intrigue and interest surrounding MXGP when Mr. Luongo was interviewed for television directly after the event it caught the full attention of all the Mexican media.
Today, we have noticed coverage of the event has spread like wild fire across Mexico with footage being broadcast on local and national prime time news as well as across all major local and national newspapers and magazines. With the opening ceremony transpiring into promotional gold, MXGP of Leon has made a big impression and we are proud to have such a professional group of people hosting the final round of the 2014 FIM Motocross World Championship!
