After yesterday’s qualifying race Kawasaki Racing Team’s Gautier Paulin was very pleased to show to the media the exclusive helmet he will be wearing during his home Grand Prix this weekend at Ernée. The French rider wanted to do something special for his home race and he organized a helmet-design competition together with his main sponsors.
The competition was organized on Facebook and it was open to everybody, so Paulin was really surprised to see how many good designs he received in a few weeks not only from real professionals but also from his fans. Among all of them Paulin chose the one of a young French entrepreneur called Ludo Dedieu, who is just starting his own business. The Kawasaki rider did not know anything about the designer when he picked up the helmet, but he admitted that it was the perfect design for him as it was full of French elements.
Gautier Paulin did not have a good qualifying race yesterday, but he will give it all today to finish on the podium in front of his home crowd.
