Plans for the UFO Racing Team in 2013

Klemen-Gercar-2012-Orehova-Vas-MX3-Ufo-racing-HondaThe manager and owner of the UFO Racing Team Ladislav Exner summed up the events of  2012 and  with the plans and goals set for the new season in 2013. He did this a few weeks ago, but this information remains current and is worth repeating.

Every year I introduce our supporters and fans with the review of the ending season and what team plans in the upcoming year, in 2013.

The past season was a very successful one for our team. We were delighted with the success of the Slovenian Klemen Gercar, getting his fourth place in the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship. He continued his winning with the title of the Slovenian Champion and added to his accomplishments the second place in the FIM Motocross of European Nations. The second rider, Petr Michalec had the injury at the end of the season and this significantly affected his results. Peter ended up in the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship in on eleventh position, and in domestic Czech championship he also achieved good results.

We are counting on both  riders to race in the 2013 season of the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship, but for both of them the domestic championships will be important as well.
Members of our team are mechanics Vláda Boruvka and Libor Michalec, and the riders Klemen Gercar and Petr Michalec. My name is Ladislav Exner and I will remain the team leader for the 18th season.

We are a small Czech team, but since our establishment we are well known throughout the whole motocross world, moreover the team UFO continues to produce successful competitors with placements in the top ten ranking of the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship.

Team colours and  motorcycles brands for 2013 will remain the same and sponsors too. They are an is important aspect of the economic background for the team. It serves as evidence and a reassurance that the racing and the marketing is done well.

The general sponsor of our team is the Italian company UFO Plast s.r.l. and a number of Czech companies, without whom we could not make it work.

Finally, I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for representing our team well; for our sponsors for their support, and I would like to wish you all good health and success in sport, in your business and in your personal life.
