With the MXGP series on a two-week break, Shaun Simpson has come to the United States this week and will race at Unadilla. The Scotsman, who is known as a sand specialist, will be riding for Red Bull KTM in the 450 Class alongside Ryan Dungey and Dean Wilson, who is returning from injury.
Fresh off a 1-1 sweep last weekend at Lommel, Simpson now sits sixth overall in the MXGP championship standings after 14 of 18 rounds.
