Matthew Phillips, who is from Australia, is one of the youngest world enduro champions, has joined the Sherco racing team. At only 22 years old he has already won two world titles since his arrival on the world enduro racing scene. He will be supported by the CH Racing team, alongside the Spanish rider Lorenzo Santolino.
In the 2016 racing season, Matthew will participate in the World Enduro Championship, he will be racing in promotional races all around the world riding the Sherco 450 SEF-R.
Matthew Phillips: “I am very pleased to be joining the Sherco organization and racing on the CH Racing team which a few years ago led me to discover the World Enduro Championship. It’s really great to be on a new motorcycle. I was surprised by the bike, it feels really comfortable and I’m beyond excited to return to competition.”
Marc Teissier: “It is important for us to rejuvenate our workforce and think about the future. Matthew, who has already won two World Championship titles, will give a more international image to Sherco in countries where we are in the developmental stage. The factory and CH Racing will work hand in hand so that he has the best possible equipment.?
