With fan interaction playing a huge role in our sport, the organizers of the MXGP of Leon hosted a parade, which traveled from the Plaza Mayor in Leon to the Centro Comercial Altacia mall.
A convoy of more than fifteen vehicles, of which were mostly pick-up trucks where the riders sat on the back and waved to the fans, traveled through Leon to the Centro Comercial Altacia where the fans were able to get up close with the riders for posters and autographs. All the people who play a massive part in the success of this amazing event, Mr. David Luongo, Director of Youthstream, Mr. Fernando Olivera, Minister of Tourism of Guanajuato, Mr. Manuel Lopez, Tourism Board Director of Leon and Mr. Juan Suberville, President of RallyMex, were also present and acknowledged.
After a successful evening, which saw hundreds of fans left with the biggest of smiles, we look forward to the penultimate round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, the MXGP of Leon, which will take place at the Parque Metropolitano de Leon this weekend.
