And the very first winner of the Super Pole powered by Akrapovic is… Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL – KTM)!
Indeed, despite the third Super Pole victory in a row of Jonny WALKER (GB – KTM) on the French tracks, the five times World Champion wins it by scoring a second place for few hundredths over the local Mathias BELLINO (F – HVA). In the standing, BLAZUSIAK wins the Super Pole powered by Akrapovic with 13 points ahead of his teammate Jonny WALKER (11 points); Mathias BELLINO (5 points) completes the podium. David KNIGHT (GB – Sherco) is fourth with 4 points just ahead of Cody WEBB (USA – Beta), 2 points, and Alfredo GOMEZ (E – HVA), 1 points.
The KTM rider has received from the hand of Gregor ZUPAN and Daniel MIKETIC from Akrapovic an endowment of 1500€ offered by the Slovenian firm from Ivancna Gorica.
Surely, the Super Pole powered by Akrapovic has encountered a real success with the public as with the riders and the “race to the best lap” should be even more interesting next season with, not six but eight riders who will compete…
