Undefeated indoors since 2010 Toni Bou – Repsol Honda continued his winning ways with yet another win at the first round of the 2015 FIM Trial World Championship held in Sheffield, Great Britain.
As has become the case in more recent years Bou was simply in a class of his own as he collected his first maximum haul of the season last night.
Speaking after the event, eight times FIM X-Trial World Champion Bou was obviously delighted to be back on top of the podium once again.
Toni Bou: “The first event of every season is very important and today was the same so to win is a great start to the year. I think I made the perfect race, just one point each time in qualifying and then the same in the final. I am very happy with my riding after the winter break and also I am very happy with my bike and the work that we have done as a team to arrive at this moment.”
“Now we will continue to work in the same way and to be ready for the next round in Marseille in a few weeks. Today has been a good victory but with every championship you must go step by step as it is always a long season.”
