Instead of the fact that Slovak riders are talented there haven´t been team contains only Slovak riders in the history of the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship. Now, the Slovakia MX Profi Team is coming on the scene with two Slovak´s best motocross riders: Martin Kohút and Tomáš Šimko.

Both of riders have the experiences with the international motocross competitions. They have one big success in common when in 2011 they achieved with the Jozef Kulhavý in the one team, the third place on the UEM Motocross of European Nations in Sevlievo. Also each of them is multiple champion of Slovak Republic in various classes. There is a hope, that they will continue taking good places also on the international scene as the Slovakia MX Profi Team is going to make them as good conditions as possible to let them show their riding skills in the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship 2013.

Martin Kohút was sidelined all last season long because of knee injury he picked on the very beginning of the year 2012. However, this slowed him down, he trained a lot during the offseason and now he feels ready for the comeback.

“It was difficult for me just watch my friends riding last year while I was injured. I knew that everything takes time and my recovery wasn´t exception. So hopefully my knee will be strong enough to survive this season, which will be the season of my life as I´m going to take part on every single round of the MX3 FIM Motocross World Championship.”

Martin owned his first motorbike when he was seven and at the age of ten he started racing. Since then he has rode on many tracks all over the Europe. According his experience we could expect him on the high steps of rostrum this year.

“I expect from myself very good results as I´m great motivated after the “rest” season 2012. Of course I would like to beat the concurrency and be the one of best riders. We will see. For sure I will pay attention on my health and injuries and would try to avoid them. This season I involved the KTM SX-F and I really believe in this bike.”
