Todd Waters returns to racing with ADAC MX Race

Todd_Waters-2014-MXGP-Arco-di-Trento_0182Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Todd Waters was able to return to racing after his injury five months ago. Young Australian entered the last race of the ADAC German Championship in Teutschenthal with excitement and finished with solid performance.

Antti Pyrhönen (Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing Team Manager): “It was great to have Todd back racing after his injury this summer. This German Championship race gave him a good opportunity to get back to race feeling and his comeback was very positive. We are happy to have him back.”

Todd Waters“I have to say that it is a great feeling to be back racing. It was quite a big injury being off the bike for 18 weeks. We used this race as practice and in order to get back the race feeling. Being back riding for only 4 weeks we couldn’t expect too much, so coming away with a 5th was good and the weekend overall was great practice.”

Todd Waters continued: “Next I will head back to Red Bull DTC to do a week of testing and I will be also working with Husqvarna to improve our bike.Two weeks from here I fly back to Australia to start a 9 week preseason training block, which I’m really looking forward to.”

Max Nagl won the first race, Dennis Ullrich was second and Jeremy Seewer was third, Todd Waters fifth. Dennis Ullrich won the second race, Sébastien Pourcel was second and Brian Bogers was third, Todd Waters fifteenth.The first race had dry conditions, as the second race was muddy conditions.
