
Belgian motocross team Vamo Racing Suzuki announced two new recruits for heir 2013 EMX2 campaign. Joining the Zolder based team will be two foreign riders: Swede Jesper Jönsson and Slovenian Peter Irt. Both Irt and Jönsson have already a few seasons of European experience behind their belts. The Vamo Racing Suzuki pair will be looking for some regular top-10 finishes in 2013.
Both for Irt and Jönsson 2013 promises to be a very special year. Not only will they both turn 20 but they will also contest the 2013 European MX2 Championship in its entirety on Vamo Racing prepared Suzuki RM-Z 250’s. As well as gunning for European glory Vamo Racing Suzuki will also be looking for success in its domestic series; the five round Belgian MX2 Championship.
On the Belgian Championship races Jönsson and Irt will be joined by support rider Wietse Brackman. The Belgian rider was already a part of the Vamo Racing outfit in 2012. Brackman’s program for 2013 will consist mainly of Belgian races. The rider from Aalst will combine his domestic championship with some regional races and a few selected rounds of the European MX2 Championship.
