Wade was in England this weekend to race “The Tough One”. The typical English rain accompanied the riders throughout the race making the circuit very difficult. Wade did not get a good start but moved into first place after battling with Jarvis and Knight.
Unfortunately, the race became very complicated for him. From mid-race on he had to contend with a rear tire that was almost smooth. He chose a tire that was too soft for the stony circuit and that along with getting some barbed wire tangled in his rear wheel cost him a considerable amount of time. Wade did manage to finish in fourth place in this very difficult race appropriately named “The Tough One”, it did however show that he has the speed to race with the world’s best riders.
Wade will now return to South Africa for the opening of the Enduro Championship, he will return to Europe for the final World Superenduro which will be held in Madrid on March 19th.
