X-Trial done – Now Japan awaits

Moto_Trial_Numberplate_2015-04-06With last night’s 2015 FIM X-Trial des Nations officially bringing this year’s indoor season to a close, the riders and teams will now immediately shift their focus and efforts to the outdoor series with the 2015 FIM Trial World Championship set to kick off in Japan later this month. The weekend of the 25-26th April will see the famous Twin Ring circuit at Motegi host the opening round of the series, with this marking the fifteenth consecutiveyear that the venue has been part of the outdoor tour.

Whilst the disciplines of X-Trial and Trial share many similarities the style of riding and techniques used by the riders differs enough for the riders to have to adapt their training programmes to suit the two almost opposing challenges. Throughout the early season X-Trial schedule the riders will have already been working with their respective teams to get a baseline setup for the pending outdoor series, but only when time allowed in between the indoor events, which has made this a tough task for all.

Now the riders and teams can use the last few remaining and uninterrupted weeks to ensure that they are in the best shape ahead of the long trip to Japan. Here riders will again find a course that includes a unique mixture of man made and natural hazards and always presents a special test of its own.
